Holy Moly I need to update this thing....especially since the last time I updated I was welcoming Abby to the world and well, she's now almost 6 months old. Man, I suck at this online blog, journaling, whatever stuff...
So tomorrow we're going to try out Downtown at 8:08. I'm super excited. I just want to be where God wants us. I'm tired of feeling the same things week after week, complaining about the same things week after week, and not doing something about it. So here's hoping that 8:08 is a good fit for us. Only God knows and we're just praying that He shows us the path.
Okay so here's the update (stream of consciousness style)... Micah is crawling now. Kim is home for fall break. Eric got back from Iraq and was home, visiting this weekend. I've been scrapping like crazy. We're starting to plan for Micah's 1st birthday party. I'm pissed off at Pampers. Survivor rocks this season. I've been hanging out with my neighbor a lot lately. Micah weighs over 22 lbs. Andy loves his new job. Tonight we went to a fish fry at Wakarusa Elementary. Lisa has a boyfriend. Mindy is AWESOME at powderpuff football. Notre Dame won today!!! I have a yucky cold and it won't go away. My Wednesday morning bible study is very very good. I need to get Micah's 9 month pictures taken before he is 10 months. I wish our flat screen monitor would work. None of my friends have a xanga anymore...they left me for myspace. My knuckle is really itchy tonight. I'm a little bit hungry. I need to go get groceries. Andy's parents are trying to move up here. My parents finally got rid of all the puppies. Jake just walked in and scared Andy. The entire neighborhood is terrified of Jake. The little neighbor girls are still holy terrors...but not AS bad as they use to be. I miss Rachel Elder. I should see if Amanda wants to go to a crop night with me....

getting ready for a pilgrimage...i heart kansas city!
trying to get ready for kansas city but i thought i would pause to say.....
welcome to the world abigail rose burgess!!!!
that's my new niece for those of you that don't know. she was born yesterday (april 20th) at 2:23 pm. 7 lbs. 2oz. and 20 1/2 in. she is gorgeous with lots of dark hair (like her sister) and came after just a 4 hr. labor! (way to go emily!!!) also i thought i would post new stats on micah....15 lbs. 3 oz. as of last friday!!!! he's a little goofball...laughing and smiling and chewing on his hands. he's learning to grab his toys and put them in his mouth. he also started eating baby food! he is a green bean eating machine. lol anyway, i need to get back to work but thought i would leave you with a little message from the book of micah (coincidence?)

Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
